Two Weeks

Ahhhhh..... The Olympics are over...and I have to say that though we won more metals than ever I found myself a bit bored by it all. It may be the simple fact that I hate winter.
I really do.
If it weren't for all of the natural disasters that occur when one lives an near ocean I would be eating an early bird dinner in Sarasota right now!
I hope this finds you all well.
Whoever you all are out there in cyber ville....
but!!!
I had my first response today so I know someone is reading my blog. Thank you Paul!
It is less than two weeks till my Gladstone show ...ooohhh...I feel tingly.
I am going over tons of material and will even try some of it out at Statlers on March the 3rd.
So, who knows?
My gig at the Mask was a bit weird.
The room is strange and I ended up performing in the front window. Felt a bit like a fish or maybe a drag queen. Not that there is anything wrong with either fish or queen , I quite celebrate both, but not what I was going for.
I want it to be spring.
Now!!!!!

Hey All!
I hope this February 20th finds you well.
I could not stop watching the poor ice dancing couple from Canada and their dropping incident over and over again at the gym today . Made me feel sicky in my tummy( as it did the lady in the inappropriate gym outfit beside me on the eliptical).
It is only 3 weeks ( AHH!!!) until my first night at the Gladstone and I am equal parts thrilled and terrified.
I am trying to come up with something awesomely fun for all of us.
I think Patrick and I will succeed in keeping you entertained.
As will our awesome guests ! I am so exctied !
Susan Gilmour was Fantine in Les Mis the first time I did the show in 1991 as a swing and I would watch her sing " I Dreamed a Dream" from the wings every night I wasn't on. Her voice and her wonderful way is one of a kind and I know you will freak.
Thom Allison and I have a long and dirty diva history ...that sounds intriguing, huh? Anyway, no one carry off a song the way he can, it is like listening to a bird I tell you, A BIRD!
You will freak again.
And just when you thought the freakin' was done the surprise guest will arrive.
Oh, I am exhausted thinking about it.
Anyway back to work.
Talk to you soon.

Happy February

Hey All!
It is February and I think that I have finally figured out my blog.
I didn't know that it meant "weblog", but now I do.
Goof.
I am quick.
I can't believe how quickly we got here.
The Gladstone is only 5 weeks away!
WAH!
I just had Thom Allison agree to be one of my three guests on March 13th , and ,of course, there is my surprise guest who has also agreed!
Won't you be excited when you get to view this awesome performer!
I am still in the process of nailing down my 3rd guest.
Maybe if there is anyone you would love to see on Sharron's Party you can email me and I can call my booker....me.... and try and get them.
On another note, I went to the Fringe Lottery party last night because I wanted to perform a show that I had written there there were 57 spots and 367 enteries.
Ug.
Needless to say I didn't get in.
A 20 year old girl named Courtney got it.
Now, I don't want to be bitter but.....that Courtney better have some edge in her 20 year old bones.
Oh well, I will just have to produce it myself.
Anyway, I will be updating this once a week now!
See you soon.
